General Application Process

After you have completed and submitted your application, it will be evaluated. 
If you accomplish the minimum requirements your profile will be adjusted so that digital documents can be uploaded.

Your digital documents will be verified and assessed. In case of a final positive evaluation, you will either be notified by the system or by the GPE application team by mail.

Please note that we cannot provide application statuses before the end of the application period (end of March) to comply with the admission regulation of the Technische Universität Berlin.

Application Status – Explanation

Status	Explanation	What to do
The application is waiting for submission	The application cannot be evaluated without being submitted and/or is not complete.	Make sure you have filled out all fields in the “User” and “Application” tab and clicked on „Update.“
The application needs to be checked	Pre-Check, if the application is complete and the minimum requirements are fulfilled. Might take up to 8 weeks, depending on the number of applicants.	Please check your application regularly.
Waiting for checking documents	You have passed the pre-check and reached the next stage of evaluation. The assessment of your documents may take up to 12 weeks – depending on the number of applicants.	Please wait until your documents have been approved or rejected.
Documents have been approved	If your documents have already been approved, the TU equivalence review or the final assessment of your application might be still pending.	Upon positive evaluation, you will receive a conditional admission letter.
